Crossing Divides: Two ex-child soldiers forge peace bonds

Two younger Indonesian males who fought as baby squaddies on opposing facets at the Indonesian island of Ambon have cast bonds as a delicate peace continues there.

Muslim Iskandar Slameth, now 31, and Christian Ronald Regang, 28, each fought at the entrance line.

Conflicts in Ambon between Christians and Muslims between 1999 and 2002 left greater than five,000 useless and part one million folks displaced.
