Indian engineers kidnapped in Afghanistan's Baghlan province

Afghan safety forces fight to regulate portions of Baghlan province

Seven Indian engineers had been abducted in Afghanistan along side their Afghan driving force, police say.

Gunmen grabbed them from a car at the outskirts of the Baghlan provincial capital, Pul-e Khomri, on Sunday.

No workforce has stated it performed the abduction. On the other hand, provincial governor Abdul Hai Nemati instructed Tolo TV that the Taliban was once accountable.

Kidnappings are a major problem in Afghanistan the place huge spaces are blighted through gangs or militant teams.

Provincial council chairman Mohammad Safdar Mohseni stated the gang had not noted warnings to take a police escort thru a space in large part managed through the Taliban.

Indian officers in Kabul stated the engineers labored for the Da Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat corporate that operates an influence station in northern Baghlan.
