BRUSSELS (AP) — Police have arrested two other people, together with a participant’s agent, as a part of a world cash laundering and corruption investigation in football.

Brussels prosecutors mentioned that a number of raids happened in Monaco, Belgium and London on Tuesday and Wednesday. Belgian police cooperated with their Monaco and British opposite numbers, resulting in the arrest of the agent in Monaco.

Prosecutors didn’t divulge the agent’s identification and mentioned his assistant used to be arrested within the Liege space, in Belgium’s Wallonia area. The agent is suspected of accumulating undue commissions over avid gamers’ transfers.

Brussels federal prosecutor’s place of work didn’t give main points of the seven raids however mentioned they’re connected to a primary wave of searches in April when Belgian police probed the places of work of Anderlecht soccer membership and the Belgian soccer affiliation.
