Police arrest James Goddard on suspicion of public order offences

James Goddard, the “yellow vest” activist on the centre of controversy over the harassment of MPs and newshounds out of doors parliament, has reportedly been arrested on suspicion of committing public order offences.

The professional-Brexit activist was once arrested out of doors St James Park tube station in west London on Saturday in reference to incidents that took place in Westminster on Monday, the Metropolitan police stated.

Scotland Backyard started an investigation after the Conservative MP Anna Soubry was once surrounded by means of protesters on Monday out of doors parliament and referred to as a “Nazi”. Police didn’t ascertain whether or not Goddard’s arrest was once associated with the incident.

His supporters claimed he was once about at hand himself in to Holborn police station, in step with the BBC journalist Daniel Sandford.
