Sudan crisis: Ex-President Omar al-Bashir moved to prison

Sudan’s army ousted long-time ruler Omar al-Bashir in a coup on Thursday

Sudan’s former President Omar al-Bashir has been moved to Kobar most safety jail, days after he was once deposed in an army coup.

Studies say the ex-leader has till now been detained on the presidential place of abode beneath heavy guard.

He’s reportedly being held in solitary confinement and is surrounded via tight safety.

Months of protests in Sudan ended in the ousting and arrest of the long-time ruler on Thursday.

The coup chief on the time, Awad Ibn Auf, stated Mr Bashir was once being detained in a “secure position” after his elimination. He himself stood down quickly afterwards.

Lt Gen Abdel Fattah Abdelrahman Burhan was once then named as head of the transitional army council, to develop into Sudan’s 3rd chief in as many days.

Demonstrators have vowed to stick at the streets till there may be a direct transfer to civilian rule.
